INTRODUCTION TO VENTURE YUNNAN 2007
Cupcake Inn is proud to collaborate with NUS (National University of Singapore) in their latest overseas community project “Venture Yunnan”. This project aims to lend a helping hand to the children in Yunnan Province of China.
Through this project, it is hoped to:
• Upgrade the library facilities by providing additional 4000 books and shelves to provide an opportunity to inculcate the spirit of reading and learning amongst the underprivileged children
• Set up a library catalogue and maintenance system to inculcate a sense of responsibility and discipline in the students
• Enhance the library’s environment by refurbishing, cleaning and painting the library to provide a more conducive place for learning
• Improve the environment of classrooms and betterment of their facilities through the provision of desks and chairs
• Increase the technological literacy of students through the contribution of computers.
